You may request to delete or anonymize a Tito event at any time.
How to delete or anonymize an event
Click on Settings in the sidebar of your event and scroll to the bottom to view options to Anonymize or Delete your event.
What can be deleted?
Events without paid registrations: These can be fully deleted.
Events with paid registrations: Due to data retention requirements, events with paid registrations within the last 6 years will only be partially deleted. We’ll anonymize as much data as possible, but certain financial records must be retained for auditing purposes until the retention period ends. Once this period expires, all remaining data will be permanently deleted.
What does an anonymized event look like?
When an event is anonymized:
Personal details, such as attendee names, email addresses, and form responses, will be replaced with sample data.
You’ll still have access to general metrics, like total registrations.
What happens when you submit a request?
Your request will enter a seven-day processing queue. You may cancel the request anytime during this period.
During processing, your event will switch to read-only, meaning:
Attendees won’t be able to access tickets.
You won’t be able to edit event details.
The event will no longer appear under “Upcoming” or “Past” events on your dashboard.
A banner will appear at the top of the event with an option to cancel the request.
Viewing deletion and anonymization requests
At the account level, you can view events scheduled for deletion and anonymization. Events in the “Scheduled to be deleted” section include those with paid registrations that have been partially deleted but still have some data within our retention period.
