RSVPs is a beta feature. Contact us to request access or to chat to us about our new product for invitation-only events.
Tito's RSVP Lists feature allows you to create a unique "invitation" URL that can only be used once, and send it out to specific people via email. You can create RSVP links one by one or import a .csv file of multiple RSVPs.
Create an RSVP list
Head to RSVP Lists in the sidebar and click on + Add new RSVP list. Give it a title and hit Save. Your list will be created. Now it's time to populate it.
Click on the Actions menu and choose Manage invitations. You'll start with a blank list, so now you need to select one of the two options at the bottom of the screen — either Add a new invitation to add an individual person, or Import to upload multiple people at once.
Add an individual person
Click on Add a new invitation and complete the form. At a minimum you need to enter an email address and choose which ticket(s) to offer them. Adding their name will help make the invitation look more personal.
You can also specify what should happen after the RSVP is redeemed, auto-apply a discount code if relevant, and add an optional expiry time which will be displayed in the invitation email. Hit Save when you're done. The invitation won't be sent yet.
Add multiple people
Click on Import and then download the .csv file template on the next screen. Fill this in without changing any of the columns or headings, save it as a .csv file, and then drag it in to the drop area under Step 2.
If you're generating unique RSVP links to email to people (the most common use case), keep the 'Y' in the Redirect column and the user will be redirected to their order if they click on the link again. If you're sharing the link publicly for anyone to claim, add 'N' instead, and the link will expire after it's used so if anyone else clicks on it, they won't be able to see the details of the person who claimed.
Send invitations
When you're ready to send invitations, open the RSVP list and click on the Actions menu and then on Send Invitations. This will open up a template email in Messages. The subject line and a boilerplate message will be generated automatically and will look like this:
Hi {{first_name}},
You’re invited to [Event].
You can get a ticket at the following unique link:
{{rsvp_link}}
[Your Team Signature]
You can click Edit to change this copy. Save when you're done. Click on the Actions menu for more options. When you're ready, click on Send message to issue the invitations. A preview will open and you can either send a test to yourself, or confirm that you wish the emails to go out to the recipients.
Once the email has been sent, you can check the RSVP list summary to see how many tickets have been redeemed.
