Under Settings the bottom menu item is Archive. Clicking this will remove it from your list of events, but it won't hide the page completely for anyone who has the link. You may also wish to:
Pause all tickets or make them secret so that anyone who still has the link to the event page can't register.
Click on Settings > Basics and hide the event from search engines.
Click on Settings > Basics and set the event to hidden on your timeline.
Revert the event back to draft mode so the event page shows a message saying:
This event is not live.
