If you'd like to give customers the option to add a donation to their tickets, or pay-what-they-like, you can select the Donation setting under Pricing options .

You can set a suggested donation, which will auto-populate the price field. And you can set a minimum donation amount if you don't want customers to be able to buy a ticket for less than a certain amount.
