Understanding Stripe's Link tool and how to switch Link off

Link is a Stripe-built tool that auto-fills your customers’ payment information. It may show during the Tito checkout when customers are paying by credit card, but it is not managed by Tito.

How does Link work?

The first time a customer uses Link, they are asked if they want to save their payment information at checkout. They will then be sent a one-time authorisation code via SMS to verify their account. Then, on supported websites, Link will automatically populate customers’ saved payment details when they enter their email address, to save time.

Can I control whether Link is displayed on the checkout form?

Link shows by default if you have our Stripe Elements integration enabled. You can turn off this option within your Stripe account, at the following link: https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/payment_methods.

Be sure to select Tito rather than the default configuration from the dropdown:
