Under Settings  > Event Homepage  there's a block called Homepage Settings , with lots of options to control how the event homepage looks.

Check the Show sold out and expired tickets  box to display public tickets that are ended or sold out. Uncheck this box if you'd prefer to hide them.

All sold out and ended tickets are displayed at the top of the ticket list.
