You can use quick tags to embed video on your event homepage. You can use them in the Short Description and Additional Info fields, and they work for both YouTube and Vimeo.
First, copy the ID of the video you want to embed from YouTube or Vimeo — this is the last part of the URL and is usually a mix of numbers and/or letters
Enter the video ID in square brackets, e.g. [youtube:dQw4w9WgXcQ], into the relevant field:
Settings > Basics > Short description
Settings > Event homepage > Additional info
Hit Save and then refresh your homepage to show the video
