We charge VAT on our fees (not on the price of your ticket) depending on your location and status. When you sign up for an account, we ask all customers for their VAT status.‌ See below for how we charge VAT.

You are based in the EU and…

You are VAT registered

We won't charge you VAT (as per the intra-EU Reverse Charge arrangement).

You are not VAT registered 

We legally have to charge VAT within the EU for digital services, so we need to charge you VAT on our fees at your local rate of tax (as per the EU VAT MOSS scheme).

You don't tell us your VAT status

We will charge you VAT on our fees at your local rate of tax (as per the EU VAT MOSS scheme). If you are VAT registered we’re able to remove it due to the reverse charge arrangement, but otherwise we are mandated to charge.

You are based outside of the EU…

We won’t charge you VAT on our fees. We are providing digital services outside of the EU so VAT MOSS is not applicable in this case.
