If you'd like to give customers the option to add a donation to their order, or pay-what-they-like, you can select the Donation setting under Pricing options.
You can set a suggested donation, which will auto-populate the price field. And you can set a minimum donation amount if you don't want customers to be able to buy a ticket for less than a certain amount.
There are a couple of ways you might use this to collect donations:
Set up a completely separate ticket type called something like "Optional donation", set a suggested amount, and then set the quantity to 1. This will turn it into a checkbox. This has the benefit of keeping your donation total separate and allowing you to see at a glance how much you've raised in donations.
Bundle it into your main ticket by setting the minimum donation amount to the ticket price, and allowing people to over pay. The excess will count as the donation amount.
