If you've enabled our Data Protection features, you will see a data privacy section is included on the checkout form:
Attendees have to accept this before they can continue to payment, so it should only be used for agreeing to your Terms, not for things where the attendee can choose whether or not to opt in, such as consenting to receive marketing emails.
For this, we do have a beta feature you can use to display additional optional checkboxes underneath the mandatory data privacy checkbox.
First, you need to contact us to enable the Opt-Ins feature for you. Once we do, you will see an
Opt-ins menu item appear in the left-hand sidebar.
Click on this and add your first opt-in. Give the question a name and, optionally, a description. You also need to explicitly attach this opt-in to tickets, otherwise it won't be displayed. Once you save, the checkout form will look like this:
