We are changing how the PayPal integration is set up behind the scenes. If prompted, please reconnect your PayPal account before 31st October 2022 to continue accepting PayPal payments on Tito.

What does this mean?

Without getting too technical, we originally built the PayPal integration using their Express Checkout product. We are now moving to use the newer PayPal Platform product instead.

⚠️ We need you to reconnect your PayPal account before 31st October 2022 to ensure there is no interruption to your PayPal payments.

How do I reconnect to PayPal?

Click to navigate to your Account Settings from the dashboard, and then click on Payment Options in the sidebar, and then on the Connect a payment option button. You'll need to select the option that says PayPal (Platform). If you can't see it, please let us know:

PayPal Platform connection option under Payment settings

Click the Connect to PayPal button and follow the on-screen instructions.

What happens next?

When you reconnect your PayPal account to use the new version, the checkout on your Tito event homepage will automatically update to make use of our new widget.

⚠️ If you've embedded the widget on your own site, please check you're using the latest version (v2) to ensure there is no interruption to accepting PayPal payments.

If you have any questions, drop us a line at support@tito.io and we'll be happy to advise.
