Tito's checkout flow allows attendees to return later to assign tickets or answer questions. These tickets are marked as Incomplete in the admin dashboard, and you may want to send a reminder to ask these people to complete their tickets.

While the checkout flow asks attendees if they wish to receive a reminder, Tito doesn't send automatic reminders. This article will walk you through the process.

How to send reminders

Our Messages feature allows you to send emails right from within Tito, including reminder emails to people who haven't assigned or completed their tickets.

When setting up your recipient link you'll see the following two options to exclude completed or assigned tickets.

If you exclude completed tickets, your message will only be delivered to folks who registered but did not complete their tickets, or those who chose to be reminded.

If you exclude assigned tickets, this will only target people with unassigned tickets.

When to send reminders

It's entirely up to you and what is best suited to your event. Typically, we suggest sending a reminder a few weeks before the event, and then a follow-up to anybody who still hasn't completed their ticket a few days before the event. This second email could have a slightly more urgent tone if appropriate, for instance: "Please complete your ticket today to avoid any access issues on the day".
